From the first call when the client told us they wanted to hire us to design a hatchet throwing venue- we were hooked. The owner’s goal was to not just get people to the space once- but keep them coming back. The space allows for 13 throwing pits, the largest Stumpy’s to date, but also included plenty of room for social gathering. The project successfully fuses the rustic feel of the Stumpy’s franchise with the clean modern chic look that the owners desired. We used stained concrete floors, shiplap wood walls, exposed steel decks, hanging lights, charred accent wood, vertical tree timbers, custom cabinetry, and a large stone fireplace to achieve the desired ambiance.
